Whats the best software to do this lads?

I would search google for and AVI MPEG MOV to MP4 converter I think ULEAD Video studio does it, not sure to be honest, why do you want it in MP4 format ?

Well I think most phone play mp4 as well as 3gp or whatever

Nero Burning Rom does it, click on Extra's, then Encode Files, or use Nero Recode

I use TMPG convert, its an excellent bit of kit for converting anything to almost anything, heres a link, have a look

Managed to get a download of that PV Author and its working a treat. Good bit of advice that!

I've encoded stuff using nero and other software, but you have to fuck about setting the resolution manually etc...

PV Author was basically click and go

Use either psp video 9, or xilisoft video convertor both very quick and easy to use.

www.videohelp.com use this site for all your queries related to video dvd etc etc its great.
