Default Problems sending e-mail

Right
Ever since i installed my Broadband (virgin) i have been unable to send any e-mails while connected. I can receive them ok but if i try to send one i get the message below.

Also if i disconnect and then reconnect using my dial up (waitrose) i can send them no probs.

Anyone have any ideas,

Thanks,

Paul.

This is the message i get

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was '**********@***.com Subject 'Re: (no subject)', Account: 'mail.waitrose.com', Server: 'smtpmail.waitrose.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 relay not permitted', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Looks like Virgin dont allow you to send email through your waitrose account while connected to them. This is fairly common.

What you will need to do is adjust your SMTP settings to read the virgin ones instead of waitrose.

As Adrian said, if you're outlook express is set to send and recieve all accounts, and check and send via the broadband, then it could be waitrose not allowing you to check e-mail on a connection other then their's
