So EA showed of a bit at E3. Reminds me of "underground".

They have already mentioned that the drift camera is optional and just wanted to make it a bit more exciting for E3

 

i cant wait for it me i think need for speed went downhill since NFS Undercover it was the last NFS that they did with Customisation

The First EA game in a while not to have microstransactions and 5 lots of free dlc apparently.

However, the "always online" has put me off. Having your ingame rating being affected by twitter likes?!?!
Garages will be limited to 5 cars because of server space etc, and anyhting EA has ever done needing always online has been a disaster. Simcity was such a mess that people couldn't play it for months and it ended up with the dev studio being closed down.

 

i was at a show called EGX at the NEC on friday and NFS was available to play and it looked ace, both my boys played it and loved it. you had to compete against 8 others and whoever won got a free t-shirt. i got 2...because the wife and i chatted up the blondes who were giving them away

Downloaded this today on xbox one as i get to play the full game for 10 hrs for free..

Played it for 25 mins then deleted it.

Graphically it is stunning. Looks almost real. Until you go to turn and the controls feel like shit. The cut scenes are aweful. Actors are terrible. Proper cringy. Why do they think street racers are like this.. worse than fast and furious 1. That put me off before the game even started.

I played nfs rivals for a good few hours.. this lasted 25 mins.. and was considering deleting after 10. I kept playing to see if i would warm to it considering it was free...

It was shit

 

I get the impression that the cutscenes are supposed to be a bit b-movie camp. It's all a bit tongue in cheek.

 

They were terrible.... ruined the game. Well that and the mechanics of it.

Like i said graphically it is stunning. Best looking game ive seen...it looks awesome.
Thats as far as it goes though.
