It will defantly go like that fgpa miners are already being used and theres no reason to say asics wont they are in the prototype stage now, im going to start stockpiling my litecoins and when it becomes unprofitable I will move all my power into newer coins

depends which coins we are doing as they are all valued differently, we currently have 780,000 doge coins left, a lot of transferring them about on the exchange depending where the value is.

Is it just randoms that set these different types of coins up? how do you persuade the masses that an internet coin you've invented is worth anything to trade in?

I did state we were aiming for 20 days or so for it to be paid off in full, you could buy a few and do it that way and many do but for me starting capital and sensible head says not to do it this way should it all go pop anytime soon you would be left with a lot of unpaid computer hardware granted you could sell it on and not lose to much on it but it's not the route we wanted to take.

Neither we are mining whichever coins have the most value in them at the time, usually doge, emerald etc they are then converted to BTC ot LTC which gives much better results, if you want to make the most out of it you need to do more than just set a rig mining a certain coin.

We are running windows 7 my brothers machine is running linux

The BTC drop worked a treat for our other coins, it really gave them a nice boost both in price and coverage.

We haven't sold anything in quite a while now as the coins we are mining are new and we are awaiting a climb in the value so we are just sat on them, we are currently on maxcoin and ECC mainly and covering anything else that looks decent that is coming out - http://www.altcoincalendar.info/calendar

We could sell both now and make a nice profit for example when maxcoin was 5 days old we sold 160coins for £350 which was only two days mining and the same with ECC we tested the water this was a low key coin hardly even spoke about really and I sold $100 worth ( 10k for $10 ) we were mining 800k-1m coins when it first was launched so it's a pretty decent ratio but we are expecting a massive rise in the coin once the mining is up ( it runs for 45 days ) and it has hit all the exchanges, if it goes to plan or anything like another coin which was very similar then we are looking at exchanging for 10-16 bitcoins.

As time went on we also realised one of the biggest earners was through the exchanges and watching / getting involved with the people who were pumping certain coins, we started with 0.1 BTC and soon realised it was really easy to turn this into a 1 BTC within hours/days.

Will it buy me a lambo with my investment no chance ( unless for some unknown reason some coin goes crazy ), is it a decent side hobby deffo

The negatives to it so far, we got done out of £80 on Ebay to some scammer but that was good to learn early on, we also got done out of £1500 by a "friend" but that's a whole different story, we also had a graphics card go down which took forever for Scan to sort out so were down in mining power which was annoying but is now sorted

My coins funded the current PC and then due to everyone trying to trip everyone off and mining not really worth it ( at the time ) knocked it on the head, been keeping an eye on the prices still ( it went as low as £140 ) and well now...
