Anyone else downloaded it on the 360, I did earlier and it looked Shit no detail in the guns or surroundings so I hope that it's down to it being a beta, I've pre ordered it on the xone so hope it's better on that ??

 

Yeah downloaded on 360. My 1st thought was the lack of colours/ textures etc. Im sure this is just cos its a beta. I went to Eurogamer at Earls Court and payed a different level in a MP match. Looked a lot more finished than this version! Plays ok but Im still getting used to it!

 

Yes its very basic. When you smash glass etc it looks terrible lol. I didnt see a 360 version at eurogamer. The only version I saw was xbox one. Looked a lot better than this beta as expected. Thing is bf3 doesnt look great on 360. It just cant cope with the scale of bf3.so bf4 is never gonna look any better.

 

Cheers for the replies, what did the xone games look like in the flesh, how did the console cope with loading up big maps and a lot of action on the screens etc, was it a big difference from 360 games to what they where showing?

yeah there was a big difference. I didnt actually get to play it as it was a toss up between titanfall and this as i was running out of time and both cues were massive. lol i chose titanfall.

I stood and watched for about 10 mins though.
As for loading times. It would would be harsh to comment on it as it wasnt the full game that was being played. It was just what they wanted you to play.(if that makes sense) Therefore i wouldnt know if it would take longer or shorter with the final product. There was alot of action as they had it set up with 64 screens and 64 players. Looked very very good in my eyes. Maybe not quite the same as the released footage they showed at e3 (fishing in baku) but that is single player not multi player so again not a great comparison. The xb1 looked good and didnt seem to struggle,screen rip or have any pop up/texture issues. Looked a million times better than the 360 beta im playing. It was also very very fluid moving which made a great difference.

Im definately getting it for my xbox one put it that way lol.

360/ps3.. id give it a miss. Maps are just to big/detailed for the current consoles. Really needs 64 players. Makes the game much more enjoyable...


As for call of duty ghost. I didnt think it was all that. Like mw3.5.lol exactly the same old crap. different perks, couple of different game modes. i played cranked which was quite good....but it was nothing on the scale of bf4. I played cod on xb1 and it looked nice, but not much better than current gen imo.....nothing like bf4 which you could easily see it was "next gen".

Have read that. Also read that they claim this is just for beta and not the same as the actual game. The map i saw at eurogamer on xb1 was a different map, but it looked very nice. Being it was two months away from release i expect they would of refined it more which is a bonus in my eyes.

 

It's released at the end of this month. I find the graphics fine(PC)? Although I did have issues for the first few hours.

This is aimed at next gen consoles, so the current gen graphics will look pretty shit

 

Only game I personally played on the xbox one was battlefield. Titanfall was running off of pc's with 360 controllers! To be honest though, in reply to what someone said about bf3 not coping on 360!!!! Its fine, get lag in a few games but graphics are perfectly acceptable and are in fact better than most other games! Never have problems!
Back to topic, I would of liked to of seen Ryse son of Rome. Wasnt sure on it as in the E3 demo all the fighting was QTE. I have been tod since then that thats not the case and you can just button mash if you like Anyone Give this a blast???

 

Yes titanfall was running pc. It is pre alpha so that was expected. Quality game though. Easily the best game I played at eurogamer. .. followed by forza 5. Forza was running on xbox one. Was stunning to look at.

its easy to say bf3 looks ok on xbox 360... till you see it on a half decent pc.different league. Even mw3 looks better and thats coming from a bf fan.
Didnt see ryse as it was a big cue but heard good things from friends who saw it... dead rising 3 was meant to be really good too. Cod ghost was errrr more of the same cod we all know.

 

I did watch ( once I was home lol) a youtube video of dying light. Gutted I didnt either bother looking at it, and it was up with Titanfall and Bf4! Its like the usual zombie survival horror with parcour chucked in for good measure! Watch on youtube, looks brilliant.
