Hi,
hope someone can help me:
I can't get onto various sites due to my cookie settings. An example is ebay, aol emails, national lottery etc.
I am running windows XP and IE 8. I have deleted history and even set to allow all cookies but still having issues.
I have re booted and now at a loss. I don't understand whats gone wrong or how to ix it - HELP
Cheers

I know it doesn't answer your question but as a workaround have you tried another browser such as google chrome? I've been using it for years now, works mint and could be worth while if it works properly
It sounds as if the the cookie security level is set too high, (of course it could be third party software causing the issue, but verify the following first)
In the browser preferences, i.e. Tools>Internet Options, select the 'Privacy' tab at the top.
The default setting (Medium) is normally suffice, so I can only assume someone has increased yours...

I don't want to change to chrome etc as ie was and has been fine for years. I need to know how to fix it rather than fudge it.
I have gone into the settings before and they are set at allow all.
It's a PITA
