Default Xbox 360 problem

My kids have one of these consoles that seems to have just developed a fault that brings p error 69 on the screen.Has anyone experienced this and if so how to fix please

Never had that code come up myself, try unplugging everything and make sure the harddrive is in correctly, might even be dust on the lens. If nothing works you could always send it away for repairs, takes about 4 weeks in total and can be free depending on when you bought it.

I believe error 69 means either the hard drive is not in correctly or its fubar'd
