Got GT4 and loaded it up and started to play the game but then noticed the controller configuration was the same as im used to on GT3.

I usually have the left analogue stick as throttle and brake, and the right analogue stick as steering left and right.

So go in to the controller configuration and set up as above, but in the game im finding that the right analogue stick does the steering BUT also will control the throttle and brake even tho its set up for steering and the left stick is thottle and brake

Can someone else check and see if theirs when set up as left stick throttle/brake and right stick as steering can also operate the throttle with the steering stick ?

Did you go into the controller configuration on the main settings, or during gt mode ?

 

either or both have the same effect

have learnt to drive with the controls the wrong way now

What a fantastic game tho, im not leaving the house for another 4 weeks now
