How do you create a new folder to store pics in in the iPhone?

I've got a 3 and there doesn't seem to be the option to do it on the phone, but I had 4 folders originally and the pics used to go into random folders and they were unable to be moved between the folders but I could move them between the folders if I hooked the phone up to the computer and did it that way

When I did the last update only 2 folders remained one with all the pics in it and one with just a single pic in it

So can I make a new folder without resortingto plugging it into the computer or not?

Click edit
Click add
Give it a name
Done

 

is that when you're on the phone or the pc

I dont have an edit option on the phone when viewing photos so cant do the above

or do i need tp update my ios to the latest version?

 

The above is correct for running iOS5

 

On the phone. It's pretty pants tho. All pics have to remain in the original folder as well as the new one. Unless you do it on the pc

 

No you can't have more than one folder, my iPhone did the same thing I started with 3 folders and then they dissapeared and all went into 1.

In the new os you can make albums but they are still in the camera roll folder so I think it's doubling the memory each pic takes up if you move them and if you move them they are still displayed in the camera roll so still a faf when your looking through.

Unless someone can enlighten me??

why don't i just hook the phone up to the computer and then create a sperate album that way?

I have to admit, been playing with a mates Iphone 4S and its not very impressive, but for two things, there is a great racing game which is great fun on Apple TV and the Sirie( not sure of the spelling) is much better than the Galaxy S2 version, were you can say words out of line...
