Hi mate. Don't be confused by all the different names around the same GPUs. Every card that is released is manufactured by several different companies, the cards are usually identical however just feature different shrouds and fans.

Every now and then a manufacturer will release a juiced up card, but this is usually reflected in the price, and typically means that there is just a factory overclock on it.

So in short mate, any of those cards will work just fine. Where are you buying from?

I've kinda lost touch with pc gear and not been following it for a while now but I do know the 8600gt is a fairly low end card, as far as gaming goes anyway, I guess your not much of a gamer?

You tried Ebuyer aswell, good prices and fast delivery

As Mike says they are all basically the same card.
ATI release a reference design to its 3rd party manufacturers so they will all be the same bar heatsinks, shrouds, colour of pcb and packaging etc.
I've used Sapphire in the past and they have been reliable.
BM08 also has a point, the 5670 is quite a low performing card as things stand now.
It will obviously be better than your nvidia 8600, however it wont cut it with the newer games out now.
If your not a gamer then this wont matter, it will perform fine for day to day use.

^Indeed, as do Nvidia also. I have always liked Sapphire cards. Had a 5870 and have a 6990 now. Got one just as they came out. Cracking card, but pricey.

Yep, should have mentioned nvidia do the same.
6990 is one impressive card, but as you say mega bucks.
I've got 2 5770's at the moment but looking at 2 6970's for BF3.
Anyone want 2 5770's ?

I've just been looking at this one.
http://www.ebuyer.com/190138-sapphir...d-11168-02-20r

it says recommended power supply 500w, mines only 300w. On the reviews someone said it seems to run fine on 250w. Does anyone reckon it will be ok?

Sorry for the hijack.

Ebuyer is where I buy all my pc gear. OCuk are an abysmal company, worst customer service I've ever come across, how they're still in business I'll never know! So I never deal with them anymore.

Ginger6 computers are only near the Wolves ground, so I tend to buy from them.

300w will be fine for a 5670 mate. A 5670 will hardly consume much. A higher power supply is always handy, but a low end rig will function fine on a 300w.
