Got a strange one here...

Desktop ran fine on saturday but turning it on this morning and it'll boot up in the normal way, and all looks fine yet wont load anything? no drivers have been loaded. firefox wont load the internet????

Tried to run combofix but flashes up then shuts off? tried going into safemode but its exactly the same. Also noticed in task manager that it loads the same processes in normal mode as per start up mode?

Any ideas? bloody stumped here as it comes up with no error messages AT ALL!?!?!?!

 

i had this the other day

it was an update to something that needed the computer rebooted but there was no screen to tell me to do this so i was in the same position

you've obviously tried this yes?

Have you got norton>>??

Ended up going through Symantec(Norton Bods)...
Remote accessed my Beast,,and sorted it end off!!
Ł70 but has so far,touch wood,ran perfect...

Cant Promise they could help you but maybe worth an ask...

Have you tried last known good configuration ? system restore back to yesterday ?
