hi switchblade, ive had a look around a couple of ps3 forums, apparently you can force eject the disk by holding the eject button in for more than eight seconds,i done this and guess what came out?not one but two disks, everything still works so been lucky i think.

Yeah, hold down for ten secs to force eject, its hit and miss so youve been lucky bud, if a disk had come off its centre youd of been fooked. Depending on which model you have there are some which had a small cover underneath the console which had a screw which you turn anti clockwise until the disk comes out, that was going to be my next suggestion.

Thats ok mate, i dont know a huge amount myself, just amazing the things you pick up while searching the net, i spent some time a while ago researching the ylod.
Glad to hear all is well, one thing though, its not a good idea to leave disks in the console, its best to put them in their case before the machine is switched off.

you'll not beleive how many times ive told the kids to put disks back in the cases, ive lost count how many disk have been ruined because thay've been left left out,and at 30-40 quid per game it gets expensive.
