Recently got a new pc with vista installed, but the cdrom isnt appearing on it. When you place anything in nothing starts etc. The drive ejects so has power and checked that autorun is activated etc. Having a look thru tinternet, I tried a few things n sumhow managed to fuck the mouse, seems like its uninstalled but managed 2 check it in devices n states that its working ok. Tried a ps2 mouse also which wont work. Also have now noticed that I cant access the system restore, says its turned off!:'( Any ideas?

 

has it ever shown up ? or was it like it from the start ?
if it was like it from new take it back and get them to sort it out .. even if you have ahd it for a while takeit back and ask em to sort it ..... if its new still have warrenty on it ..
