whats the best around ? avg aint gonna be free soon so have to look elsewhere...

Pete - the old AVG 7.5 says 'upgrade to 8.0 etc etc' but it's advertising a version u have to pay for.. BUT

They still do a free version for home usuage

Avast, doesnt use up loads of pc memory, never bogs the pc down AT ALL, easy to use, auto updates, so you just install it and leave it really.

I use my pc everyday on the internet and its running spot on
