A 17" screen, do you squint alot

Mines not cutting edge, AMD dual core 4400,X1900 Xt (both with after market coolers), 2 gig ram, creative soundcard, 5.1 set up, track IR!! and a rather old an shabby plain off white box to keep em in.

Oh, and a 22 " widescreen jobby.

 

Mines got a few buttons,alot of errors,and loadsof music!!! oh and a 9nbdogie76983276tb843gjhvkb45837fbrfvb mega chip!!!

how have you found your psu fan has coped with it being upside down?

Yeah, but as you said, its all down to cash. I dont game though so not really worth the extra outlay IMO

Recently upgraded to a dual core system but nothing special- plays games great and wizzes along though compared to my single core build

Case keeps everything so cool along with me freezer pro on the cpu.
powersupply works great at the bottom the case btw- better than at the top imo

I had one of the early cpu only water coolers... was great when it exploded in the case

Smelt of cats piss and had to bake the cpu, ram, mobo, gfx card and sound card in the oven overnight to sort it out

 

I don't have anything special as PC's, but put a bit of effort into the network...






In there are: Cable modem, wireless router, a 16port Netgear Gigabit switch, 1TB of storage in Raid 1, and a UPS with a power feed back into the house for the cordless phones.

your psu is mounted at the bottom of the case?, the psu you have usually sits at the top of a case with the fan faciing downwards

i just wondered how the fan was holding up, if ithe bearings had started squeeling at all?

how long have you been running it like that?

 

Ah I see, About a month ive had it there! Seems fine, temps are nice and its not noisey

 

this water cooling my mates had in his for years and never had a problem with itm hes just does the cpu though and his temp was getting any hotter than 22 degrees

mine i got off another mate for Ł20 and comes with a water block for graphic card but not good as im going to be using 2 cards soon

 

Good work on the 19" Enclosure! Tidy setup and a good idea with the UPS for the phones

heard mix rumours about it, well ive never played any other pc game so far bar the battlefield series as nothing beats it yet

i may get call of duty 4 as that does look good

yes mate its going to be carnage, 64 player is bad enough especially on karkand or warlord maps

ive been trying to build my pc for 2 years now but having building the cosy and other stuff its just at th eback of the que it will be soon though

counterstrike does still the most played game online and its been going 6 years now still the main game at all the tournaments/lans/leauges too should give it ago

 

think ill stick with the bf range

alot of my team mates have counterstrike but they always return to battlefield after a day or so

 

thats because there sick of been killed without knowing what day it is
