you dont need 800w mate.

something like this would do fine http://www.ebuyer.com/product/114945

Its not all about Watts, its about how much Amps the 12v rails have you could have a 800w psu with 20amps on the 12v rail which is rubbish if your planning on a 8800GTX or ultra etc, it wouldnt run them

It is a ultimate laptop I had a very good gaming pc before this but decided to upgrade to this laptop. It plays any game very well and you can play anywhere.
A lot of the money was in the warranty, which cost Ł400 for 4 years next day onsite full warranty, and also the components are expensive.

GTi_iTG Thanks you can get more FSB by dropping the multi to 7 so 450(ish) fsb x 7 but the its not prime stable.

400 x 8 works well and more than enough for video stuff i do.

The core 2 duo's are great overclockers, most people just think oh ill have the E6600 or the E6700, what they dont realise is a processor like yours can easily OC to and beyond higher spec processors

I only use my machine for css and surfing - however when I moved up to the 22 inch widescreen monitor I needed to up the resolution and this lowered my FPS. I can't handle having a pc with ANY issues with FPS so bought the fastest gfx card possible and built up a serious gaming machine.

It just laughs at css atm. I have bioshock too and it also laughs at that.

I would have to start playing a more cpu intensive game to make it worth upgrading any more as its already very quick

I left out all the geeky details - but be assured every part is top notch.

Cheers

RW

The cooler is a Tuniq Tower item - very good cooler. Mind you even the Artic Freezer 7 works really well and def good value for money.

It just laughs at css atm. I have bioshock too and it also laughs at that.

I would have to start playing a more cpu intensive game to make it worth upgrading any more as its already very quick

I left out all the geeky details - but be assured every part is top notch.

Yeah i know what you mean, when a game is lagging thats the worse thing in the world, takes all the fun out of the game especially when its online.

I play Battlefield 2142 online alot and my system copes with that fine, almost highest settings, looks great on my "19 widescreen

P.s give me the "geeky details"?
