Default Bluetooth Headset problems

As above.

Had an old shitty "madcatz" bluetooth headset that i intended to use on the PS3. I got it paired, but everytime i went into a game (COD for example) it interuppted my connection and eventually i got logged out?

Thinking it was the shit headset, i asked the missus to get me the official PS3 one for xmas, which she did. Had a bash at it this morning and its doing the exact same thing!

Whats the problem? Settings on the PS3? My Router?

What's your NAT settings? Because it sounds like a network problem, I doubt it will be the head-set mate

"NAT Type 2" according to my PS3 but i have NO idea what that means?

My PS3 is wireless, through an orange livebox, signal is fine mostly, just as soon as a headset is involved it fucks up.

Hmmm. NAT2 is the best one..

It's a strange one, I get the connection interuppted thing on COD too. But when that starts I just quit out that lobby and it's usually okay after that. I think there was a thread about Orange and online gaming, a few folk were having issues with it but if it's only when the head-set is on then it can't be that Sorry bud,, I'm out of ideas

I think i have solved the problem

Read a bit online and it seems the bluetooth on my PC, which is just next to the PS3, is interfering with the headset. Turned the PC bluetooth off and it seems to be working

Thanks though
