Default Mouse problem

I have a cordless recharable mouse which works no bad.

When i switch the PC on it works perfect,

BUT

When i put it in sleep mode or it turns of its self and i put iback on, the mouse doesnt work meaning i have to restart the PC for it to work

Any ideas

Have you done a windows update lately as i had the same problem and it was one of the updates that had caused the problem

Vista SP1 includes a security update that disables a lot of USB mice and keyboards. This provides an added layer of security to the operating system. this behaviour is by design
