How much HDD space does a standard XP install take up ?

i'd imagine so, though it may be a bit of a squeeze, specially after running the updates etc, the asus eee mini laptop has a 2gb hard drive and people have installed xp on that (runs Linux as standard) but i know that takes up about 90% of the space.

suprised you go hold of one! as they seem to bo the "it" thing at the moment.

pretty handy if you just want something small to surf the net on round the house etc, quite well priced aswell.

there meant to be doing an 8gig windows version though i doubt it'll be as cheap.

you can upgrade them, like any laptop (tho changing the hard drives means pulling the thing apart and voiding ur warrenty) but there not really designed for major use just generial net/email stuff. and for less than Ł200 you cant complain.

Its just the portable version that runs in itself. If you google it you should find copies of it floating round.
