as some of you might know i've been having trouble with my PS3 playing online games, on COD4 i could play online but could not invite anyone to a party or join them, well a mate says it had to be my internet configurations so tells me to go into my settings and change something called UPPN or something like that, well after i did that the internet test could not find my IP address so i thaught fuck this and put it back to the way i had it, did that and still wont find my IP address, i've even tried to do it manualy but it asks DNS codes

any ideas what i've done now ?

just reset up your network connections on the ps3

 

my lass sorted it needed the WEP key as we ve just got a new router sent out which i didnt realise was secured

 

when all the configuration is done tho its still saying UPnP unavailable should it be?? anybody elses saying that??

hmmm isnt there a way through network settings to reset factory settings .... ill have a mess with mine after and have a look probably be me putting the same post up in half an hour

 

yeah there is and i've done that just dont know why i still cannot play against people
