just got a samsung 19" lcd tv (le19r87***) and want to connect my pc to it, in the Manual it says Use a D Sub cable?? is this just a male to male jobbie and do i need to use a separate audio cable to carry the sound to it.

most new LCDS TV's have an VGA cable (standard monitor cable) and also if your computer has it aswell an S-video out cable. Could use either

 

yes its means male to male and yes you will need a seperate audio cable from the PC out to the tv sound input.
