I can open one internet explorer and it's fine, try opening another and it shuts down

Only way I can get around this is opening the second window from a link in the first

I could live with that but when i try and place an auction on ebay, i get to the picture upload stage and then bang, all open internet explorer windows just shut down, every time

Any clues guys?

 

the only thing i can think of is a popup stopper or virus have you got one.
i carnt think of any setting that would do this.

 

what does it say when it shuts down explorer??

 

Internet Explorer has encounter a problem and needs to close, then up pops the 'do you want to alert microsoft' box after it's shut down

Fook it, gonna reformat the thing this weekend!

 

i had this the other day.

you need to remove/de-install IE from your comptuer and then reinstall it from your windows disc.

 

tried the updates??????????

 

Download all the windows updates but can't download service pack 1 because there is..er....a problem with my product key

 

Then get a better copy, and ditch your dodgy one LOL
