hehe
not much info here
first off all what wireless does the access point support and what does your laptop? support. you got a,b,g,n
name of it
need to know what security are you going for?
The best one to go fore without loosing much of performance in the wireless is to go for WPA2
when it secures your network and wont let you in i presume you mean that you cant connect wireless.
Then again need some info are you using windows standard connection method or are you using a program like: intel, hp ect ect
at some point on your guide it will say that you have to wright a password. you need that to connect to you wireless
if its going to run WEP security its gone ask if you want 64bit or 128bit encryption.
if the guide is asking if you want to broadcast the SSID and you select NO then you have to fill in that manually on your laptop? and remember what the name on you access point is
