Hi, i'm currently running a 2ghz Athlon PC,
Abit Max 7 Motherboard
1 gig RAM
and Geforce 6200

At the moment I am having to use my old Geforce 4ti because I cannot boot with the 6200!

When I change cards to the 6200, the boot sequence is terribly slow, and eventually freezes.
This happens even if I uninstall and disable the previous card/drivers.

I'm wondering what to do, I don't think it is a faulty card because I had it working a few months ago with no problem.

Can anyone help?

 

What did you do prior to this happening? did you install any games or anything else? its strange that you only get problems when this particular card is installed.

How old is the card aswell?

 

I would say the cards fucked, or it's drawing too much power causing a slow bootup
