Streaming clips etc? if the etc means videos like youtube and stuff then you can get an extension for firefox which will let you directly save any videos to your hard drive. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2584

as long as you have the extension running(think its bottom left) just left click on the video and i think that brings up a box to save, its pretty easy
If you save the video and have problems playing it back then download VLC player http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc/ that will play it, plus its good to have because it plays most files that other players will refuse to play

bit anoying that you can only play them with this flash player, i wanted to save my recorded vids and save them in zune so i can watch the media on my xbox 360 on the big screen

RST ski google a video converter, i got one called total video converter, its not free but lets you use it forever but the only snag is the videos will have a little logo in the top right saying "total video converter", but ive used that firefox extension to save a youtube vid, then convert it with the above into mpeg4 then saved it to my mobile and it works fine
