Hi all this is my first post and won't be my last

I have a "new" car for myself and wanted to make it my new project.

It is a Ford Escort Summer SVP 1.3i

I would idealy wanting to change the engine to either a 1.6 or 1.8. But wondered if a rs turbo would fit in the space?

The cars going in for a bonnet respray at the end of the month because one of my "friends" jumped on it when he was pissed . But he is paying for it so i can't complain (comes to Ł300 in total ). The bloke who is doing it is doing a full bonnet respray panel beating it, cause it has a dent scratch. He is also spraying the wings so it matches the bonnet and the wing mirrors in the price .

yup an rs lump would fit as its the same as as a standard 1.6 cvh used in em bar the turbo n that

as Jeff said it's a straight swap just rs turbo engine bolts right in
