Recently got a new case(Antec 900) and transferred everything into it from my old compaq case.
Here it is

Case has got two 120mm fans at the front with cool blue leds(see the pic), one 120mm fan at the back(exhaust)also with blue leds and one 200mm fan at the top which is absolutely huge and throws all the warm air out there, to give you some idea of how powerful it is you can make a Ł20 note float above it!
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200
2gigs of ram
300gig seagate barracuda HDD
Philips DVD ReWriter Drive
Geforce 7950GT 512MB graphics card
Creative X-fi Xtreme audio sound card
520w OCZ PSU
Logitech x530 speakers (5.1)

Edit i forgot to say its running on a 17" Ben-Q LCD

I don't do "fancy" PC - mine lives beneath the desk and allows me to surf the web, fuck around with video's/DVD's, and stream my music to my hifi - so it don't need to be fancy....

The PC is a Dell Optiplex GX260;

It's a clam-shell design, so it opens, err, like a clam without messing around with screws

Inside is a 2.8ghz P4 chip (no idea what socket or any of that) and 1.5gb (three 512mb sticks) of RAM. a primary 60gb HDD for running the OS, programmes and saving data "procured" from the web to - which i then moved to a 320gb internal slave drive. The important bits from this are saved to an 8gb external HDD

NEC DVD-RW drive, and a stock Dell DVD-ROM drive, stock floppy...

Stock on-board graphics (I don't do gaming) but I upped the audio to a Trust twin PCI (single PCI card with a "daughter board" PCI slot header) optical digital 5.1 card. Main PCI card header has the 5.1 analogue outputs, and the daughter board has a pair of optical (in+out) and a pair of digital coaxial (in+out) connections. I use the optical to stream music ot my hifi, which is only 2ch stereo, but it will stream Dolby Digital and DTS multichannel audio to a reciever than can decode

Bluetooth USB dongle for file transfer to and from my phone and my downstairs PC.....

Stock Dell 17" TFT monitor, stock Dell keyboard, stock Dell wheel button mouse, oh and a USB card reader for my camera's

Nothing fancy, but does pretty much all that I want it to

I might aswell stick some pics up of mine seeing as I was messing about with it yesterday.

Basic Spec of that is;

P4 3.0ghz currently overclocked to 3675mhz
2 Gig RAM
ATI Radeon X1950 AGP Graphics Card
70gb 10,000rpm Raptor Drive for Programs and Windows
130gb Secondary Drive for Files
30gb Backup Drive

I really need to add another HDD for all my files

Most of the time it is used with a 17" LCD monitor, but I can also play games on my 42" Plasma TV

I have more fans arriving tomorrow for it, so I can cool the gfx card better and maybe OC the CPU a bit more. I got it up to 3710mhz before I started getting errors but it was stable at 3705mhz, I just backed it off a bit for saftey for now.

For the record, the monster fan on top of his CPU is not the easiest to fit

what do you mean "giant fan"? its a heatsink is it not? and yes that is huge

Taking out the mobo would be a right bitch aswell as you would need to take off the heatsink etc first otherwise it would snap the board clean in half

And since were showing graphics cards heres mine

Yeah, I meant the heatsink

Was a fiddly job to fit, but has done the job intended

You play pc games on the 42"? your gpu wouldnt be powerful enough to run at that resolution unless you play the games on low settings or maybe medium at a push id imagine?

It is a good case but these 8800 cards are so big I'm starting to wish I got something bigger. As for the memory it's this one :

GeilŽ Ultra DDR2 2.0GB PC6400 Dual Channel memory kit (2 x 1GB) 800MHz (4-4-4-12) +Aluminium heat spreader

Have you fitted an optional fan in the side window yet? i fitted a 80mm fan i had laying around and it dropped my graphics card temps a fair bit, yours would benefit too

nah nor do i mate, but i think it doesn't really matter that much, as long as you got a good processor, gpu, and a good amount of ram(i.e 2 gigs) then you will be good all these different types of ram are just for bragging rights more than actual performance, i mean yes you will get a few more points in 3Dmark or a few extra fps in a game maybe? but other than that it wouldn't be noticeable unless you actually LOOK for the performance

I tidied it up a bit when I put the new hard drive in and I'm not having any probs so I'll leave it now. I've been looking on net and apparently XP can't see big HD unless it's been updated which I can't with my (cough) copy. But soon I hope to get a lagit copy of Vista

Running bog standard settings at the moment with a 3D mark 06 score of just over 10k. Need to have a read up on overclocking and see what i can get it to.

sounds about right mate, the Intel Q6600 processor and high end cards score around 10-11k.
My mate has just upgraded his pc, new mobo, processor etc(Q6600) but hasnt updated graphics card yet so hes just using his old X1950 pro and he gets 5.5k with that, so if adds a high end card be around your score
My system gets 5.5 but at the moment ive kinda gone off gaming for now and got more important things to spend my spare cash on right now so upgrading can wait
