ok its got a fire wall built in dont no wat the settings to make sure its off on msn i cant send or recive files think thats also something to do with firewall!!!! my bros also on the same modem(wirelss conection for him) its a D-LINK ADSL router if that makes any diffrents
if any ones using this and dont have any probs with it can you post up ur settings

Need to know which firewall you have, all are configured differently, I use Sygate and can tell it what to allow or stop.

Are you sure it's the D-link firewall, and not a firewall based on the computer??

 

Had a D Link wireless card and it was allways causing me problems, swapped to another make and it works fine. I suggest another brand.

 

Right, let me see if I have this right, main pc has a d-link wireless router on it, which has a cable modem plugged into it, and yor bro use's another pc on wireless connection ??

What's the model of the router ??

 

thanks for the replys after a good look on the net i sorted the problem !! now runs better then any others i have tryed with the right settinsg on the firewall ! i know it was some thing to do with the fire wall on the router as when i uninstaled the one on my comp it was still playing up but now all sorted and running well
