I think what you're referring to is known as a KVM (cable or switch), they're generally used to control two (or more) PCs using one keyboard, monitor, and mouse.

Not sure whether they'd work with a PC and an XBox, though, but you'll be able to look it up a bit more easily now you know roughly what they're referred to as!

Quick google search bings up the following;

http://www.x2vga.com/

Also, I'm guessing you simply want to switch display between the PC and the xbox right? If so a KVM is not what you want....

A KVM switch will allow you to use both your PC and XBox without having to unplug and switch wires back and forth. You plug the XBox video cable into the KVM on one side. Then you plug your computer's video cable into the KVM, and then plug your mouse and keyboard into it also. Then, the KVM has a place to plug your computer monitor into, and then a USB cable that goes into the computer to relay the keyboard and mouse back to it. You will still have to unplug your K/M to plug into your FRAG, but you wont have to switch any monitor cables...

Most KVM adapters are designed to be used with 2 computers, and in turn, most if not all, use USB to route to the computer. The FRAG is not USB, so it would obviously not work well. If you get a PS2 model, that would work fine.

If you purchased a VGA switch, you could switch from PC to xbox in a wink of an eye. This would be a cheaper alternative, because it wont require a HD pack. You would need a switch which consisted of a VGA cable from the switch to the PC, a VGA cable from PC to Switch, and the standard cable from xbox to the Switch.

All i mean is i am running my 360 with the hd vga cable not the scart cable as the picture difference is shocking as my tv is lcd the same as my monitor but the picture through my monitor is superb so i want to stick with that until i get a new tv so what i'm asking is can you get a switch thing like this photoshop i done on the quick i know the pic is showing tv aerials but just imagine the leads are just vga leads not aerial ones lol but the principle is still the same if that makes sense?

Martin

Lol, right okay, this should help;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SVGA-VGA-Switc...QQcmdZViewItem

Buy that (or something like it)

That is a VGA switch. You plug a VGA cable into your PC and then into port A on that box. You do the same with the X box into port B. You then take a VGA cable from the box output (I/O), to the monitor. When the box is set the position 1 it will show the PC, when you flick it over to position 2 it will show the xbox, with no need to unplug anything... ever
