Default My new DFI SUPER HIGH END MOTHERBOARD

Well it has finally arrived after two months of waiting one in a thousand worldwide and i took delivery today at 11:06am delivered by citylink,
The worlds best motherboard of cause DFI Venus very very very overclockable motherboard coming in at £226 pounds from www.cpucity.co.uk pre order only none left sorry.
The board looks no different from the DFI expert so why is it so expensive and so limited lets take a look.

Top-of-the-line Performance
DFI, a world leader of motherboards and maker of the award-winning LANParty motherboard series, today announced its limited release of a super high-end motherboard: DFI LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus. This special edition motherboard consists of 100% Japan-made, solid Aluminium electrolytic capacitors with low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) to deliver unprecedented performance and overclocking capabilities.
Top-of-the-line Performance
Capacitors store power and regulate voltage. Using solid Aluminium electrolytic capacitors will add value to a motherboard's performance as they are capable of continued high-temperature operation at the rated operating voltage. Solid Aluminium capacitors also offer excellent impedance characteristics over a wide temperature range, which is desirable for filtering applications. This special edition LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus will provide users extra power and voltage control, two essential factors for the ultimate overclocking performance.

Extended Operational Life
Solid Aluminium electrolytic capacitors have unlimited operational lifecycle. They can operate far longer against that of liquid electrolyte capacitors and do not exhibit wear-out or dry-out limitations. Unlike liquid capacitors, which have a tendency to cause explosions from the liquid overflowing, solid electrolytic capacitors eliminate this concern and add valuable stability to the motherboard. Enhanced with only solid electrolytic capacitors, the LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus is a high-endurance board that will last through even the most rigorous and intense overclocking.

Increased Speed
ESR stands for Equivalent Series Resistance. Lowering the ESR increases the speed at which the capacitor can release its charge. This speed is important for decoupling microprocessors. With the use of solid electrolytic capacitors, the ESR will drop dramatically, minimizing power dissipation. Low ESR solid capacitors are critical in decoupling high frequency microprocessors in multiple applications. The limited edition LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus which features low ESR capacitors is set to deliver increased speed and overclocking performance under higher temperature and power consumption conditions.

DFI is the world leader in high-end motherboards designed for the ultimate gamers and overclockers. With this special edition LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus, DFI becomes the first motherboard maker to use 100% Japanese, low ESR solid Aluminium electrolytic capacitors. The release of this special edition LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus also coincides with DFI's 25 th anniversary, marking this occasion as a leader for 25 years in the IT industry.

So soon has I get my psu I will get overclocking and report some results back to see if it just a promotional scam or DFI are true to there word.

I would have thought with a mobo like that one, specially at that cost and spec, then it's a bit "low spec" to use a 2.9gHz CPU and only 1GB of ram... My boggo Dell mobo runs a 2.8gHZ and 1.5gb of RAM as stock, so I would have thought you'd be going for a 3.2-3.5 AMD CPU and more along the lines of 2gb RAM

Thats what I said right? 2.9gHz and 1gb RAM.... I just thought you might go for a faster CPU and a tad more RAM is all.....

The 4ms TFT is a nice touch tho! Mines about 12ms!!!
