Default Trial Programs....whats left when uninstalled???

If you try a free trial programme that then runs out, and you uninstall it, why can you not then reinstall it?

There must be something left on the computer to tell it you've already used it. Can this be removed???

Anybody know?

They leave all sorts of hidden codes in your registry.

I sometimes do a back up before installing, then scan afterwards to look for changes. Save these changes as a seperate file then you know which ones to delete later
