I cant see an AGP slot there and you've only got 2 spare PCI slots which makes your motherboard pretty limited in upgrades Im afriad.

What are you trying to gain from upgrading your pc? Is there a particular task you find annoyingly slow?

well all i use it for at the moment is the net and downloading/playing music etc and its lightening fast at all of that but i just wondered what id need to do to be able to play the top games but i dont think its going to be possible is it

You said you cant see an AGP slot, whats that for anyway? is that a bad thing that i havent got one?

Also whats the PCI slots for? thats things like graphics cards and sound cards isnt it? correct me if im wrong?

Most graphics cards use the AGP slot (and newer ones also use PCI express now I think - which isnt the same as PCI) - which yours doesnt have.

PCI slots are those 3 white slots at the bottom of your case of which one of them you've already got occupied with a modem? You use these slots for pretty much anything except graphics cards! You can get PCI graphics cards but they are not that common and I dont think they are all that powerfull because of the limitations of the actual slot.

hmm would one of those PCI graphics cards play any decent games or is it a definate no no!?

I had a feeling my pc wasnt very upgrade-able but it seems abit stupid that its got a high GHz processor and room for upto 2 gigs of RAM yet it cant really play the top games because it cant house a decent graphics card!?

Im not too bothered to be honest because i dont really play much games and when i do im happy enough with my ps2 these days, and its a good job i think otherwise id be out buying a new pc

Best to check the actual requirements from the games your interested in playing to get an idea.

Also hate to break it to you but your processor is a CELERON which although is not bad being a 2.6GHZ. It suffers in its reduced cache (which you can do nothing about).

TBH I prefer playing games on consoles anyway!
