Focus 1.6 Zetec 3DR Panther Black - £3750
Those of you who know me well can vouch for the fact that everything i do on the car, i do properly.
Zetec S engines have had problems with piston ring failure at around 60,000 miles - my car suffered from this - so i replaced the entire engine, gearbox, clutch and all ancillaries at just over 60,000 miles.
Quick Spec of the car goes as follows:
1999 Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec SE
Panther Black
3 DR
77,000 miles on the clock - only done 17,000 miles on current engine, gearbox, clutch etc. - All work carried out professionally.
Ran 126bhp with 123 lb/ft at Power Engineering Rolling Road day.
K&N Panel Filter, Remus Cat Back Exhaust and Superchips Bluefin.
Full Service History - Oil changed every 6k.
8 months remaining on MOT, 7months remaining Tax.
Recently replaced front brake discs and pads.
Modifications other than engine mods:
7x17" Multispoke 'Split Rim' Alloys
Falken 451 Tyres, 2 recently replaced, 2 with good tread.
-30mm Pi Lowering Springs
ST170 Headlights
Smoked Indicators & Side Repeaters
Smoked Projector Rear Lights
Tinted Rear Windows and Rear Screen
Colour Coded De-Lock Handles
I have spent more money than i care to remember on this car and have never neglected it - it's not an easy decision to sell after the recent engine and gearbox change as she's like new mechanically and the interior is in excellent condition - but needs must.
The only problems are:
Dent in Passenger Side Rear Wheelarch (probably cost under £100 to have removed) & 3 cm scratch on drivers door - could probably be taken out at the same time as the arch for a few quid more.
All things considered i'm asking £3750 for a quick sale.
Cheers
Will
