Ford Escort XR3i Cabriolet Tennis - G Reg *£250* - with pics
Posted on behalf of a friend...
Ford Escort XR3i Cabriolet Tennis, G Reg, White, 100k miles, lots of service history (new cambelt/lifters/service), reasonable condition, power hood with white torneau cover and half leather recaro buckets.
It would make excellent small cheap project - it just needs tidying. It starts and runs fine, with no knocks rattles or smoke and that's not rust on the bonnet/wing it's a big bird poo
The Tennis was a limited edition - I believe there were only 500 made (?)
The MOT has just expired and there's no tax as my friend is disabled and the tax has to go back.
Unfortunately it does show on the hit list - it was a stolen/recovered vehicle (many years ago), but I have known the last three owners and can say it's not a bad car, nor has it been mistreated.
Sorry for the bad pictures, it's the weather here at the moment!
£250 buys it.

Rob,
Location is jct 5 M3 (Hook, Nr Basingstoke) which is a long drive from Holyhead (approx 3-4 hours) - which I would not be making
The car drives 100% as I have already stated. I used the car myself for a few weeks last month so I can personally say there is nothing wrong with it. It would certainly get you home if you wanted it.
The car isn't open to an offer unfortunately - the price is the price, regardless.
If it isn't sold as it is, I've been told to complete any work needed and to sell it once done.
Your call
Jim.

Sam - not a chance in hell on a Sunday mate I've PM'd you
dave - I agree £250 is more than fair, but you'd be amazed with the amount of PM's I've had from w@nkers with no money trying to buy it for £50 I can't be bothered to break it as it's too much hassle and aggrivation and e-Bay has more idiots on it than on here so I'll pass on that too
