IIRC its was originally a small turbo escort cosworth, but it has had a big turbo conversion.

Have to say, from what i saw of it, the Escort looks proper mint with the engine power to match, One of the few left in this condition.

Well, I've got to say I think this is one car that's worth what he's asking for it. It's obviously had a lot of time and money spent on it. If I didn't have mine I'd buy it and no mistake.

Would you rather a car like this have no paintwork done to it and be all scruffy and shit or would you rather it have a full respray and be fookin mint?!?

Now I dont know RS Cos personally and ive never met him but I have seen his car and its an absolute fukin belter. Absolutely spotless, one of the finest escort cosworths ive seen and ive seen the National Day Concours winner as he is a personal friend.

paint can hide a multitude of sins, people who have seen what goes on in the trade are bound to ask this,,.... I imagine chunny may be in the trade?

 

mate i know where yr coming from about the has it had paint? and i can say i have been talking to alot of people over the last few months looking for a nice cozzy,and ive looked at loads,people have told me the same thing over and over that il find it real hard to find one that hasnt had paint,and even if it hasnt it needs sum because of how thin the original paint was.
i looked at 2 escozzys last week not mentioning where, one had only 17k on the clock 1 owner Ł19,995 and the complete fronts been painted,so has the side skirts.
and a p reg with 24k Ł19,995 and that hads had loadsa paint too
if you do find one youl be paying megga bucks!!

and it pisses me off sumtimes because it said in the add original and unmarked and i drove over 100miles thinking i was looking at a car with original paint to find it had had more paint than the test board at dulux!!!
