1976 RS 2000
Just gauging interest at the moment
2.1 Pinto running 45 dellortos, back to a type 9 5 speed gearbox as I killed the Quaife one. Rear axle has cost in excess of £1000 with a 4.44 ratio and a Trans X LSD.
Black Compomotive MO's, Austin Princess 4 Pots on the front, Sierra rear discs on the back. Interior is stripped out with 4 point harnesses and the standard fishnet seats retrimmed in black leather, Saftey Devices Roll cage, 3 litre Capri fuel tank mounted upright in the boot with a high pressure electric fuel pump.
Does about 110mph flat out, 0-60 in 6.2 seconds
Looking for around the 6k mark
As it currently stands

Car is still dirty from the past weekend but you get the idea.
Im not too sure on the welding front, obviously it has had some and I ll get some pics next time its up on the ramp. I have lots of photos of when it was restored as well

Its had a Heavily braced rear axle fitted, its still on leaf springs but has a 4.44 ratio instead of the 3.54 one and a Trans X LSD. It has Quaife hubs and half shafts fitted along with the rear discs from a Sierra.

No probs, it was a question asked by someone when I bought it and I think the answewr was " There was loads of red ones and not many this colour".
I was origionally going to paint it black but the colour really grows on you and it gets attention where ever it goes to be honest

I sold this car to Pete jus over 18 months ago, the spec list was huge then, even then it had reciepts for nearly what he's asking for the car now, and I know he's spent a fair whack on it himself. The guy I got it off did a 5 year resto job on it himself, painted the bare shell on a spit etc. Superb car, was kicking myself a bit for selling it, but it was too new for me, prefer 60s stuff.
