Hold on for your price mate, it's worth that all day long. There's just so many chancers out there wanting stuff for nothing. Where would you find another one? Its the sort of car that wants storing somewhere for a few years and it'll definitely appreciate.

They were always a massively underrated car. Basically an XR3i with a boot.

If I had a barn I'd buy it and store it. I used to have a late Mk2 Droop Snoot RS2000, wish I'd done that with that now!

I had a 1980 RS 2000 V plate in black with chocolate custom interior....it was mint and I sold it for £2500

Not sure got facts right, but 1500 was price?
That was figure mentioned and to be honest on face of it seems fair as friend sold a silver h plate one back in October with 85k for 2300.
Having the 1600E will do though for moment.
