1992 K Plate Smokestone Blue 4x4 Saph *SOLD please remove!!*
Ok the time has come for me to sell my saph 
the reason being that i am emmigrating to Australia and need to clear my debts so it has to go 
It is standard apart from a full Magnex system, poly bushed front end (have the rears just ain't got round to fitting them), and an Alpine Radio/cassette Head unit with 6 disk changer in the boot.
The car has done 72,000 miles and drives very well, as you can see from the pics (even though they are old...will try to post some recent ones) this is a clean car and has all original panels and paint, the car is HPI clear and has had an independent inspection performed on it, that also came back clear.
The car comes with a full history with the exception to 1 (maybe 2) service invoices although all stamps are present in service book. The car has no MOT or TAX as it has been in storage for the last 6 months and they ran out but i will mot her if need be for a potential buyer. The car has had 6 previous owners including myself, and every past MOT certificate is present when the car has not been in storage, i even have a copy of the original bill of sale from dee's of croydon RS centre along with the invoices from them for servicing. It was serviced by them until 1998 when it had covered 55k miles, from then it was serviced at my local hartwell ford dealership. It had its cambelt changed at 60k miles. The only thing that will come up on a HPI is that it had a private plate changed but i have the paperwork for this also.
The car has black raven leather interior (slightly cracking on the drivers side bolster), air conditioning (although needs re-gas) the engine is completley standard and as far as i am aware it has only been run on standard boost as there is no evidence to suggest otherwise, the wheels have slight kurb marks and will require 2 tyres due to wear, there is no rust evident and the whole appearance of the car is very good.
Price £6,500 ono

Ok sorry to all people who want to look at the car , unfortunatley i counldn't get on here last night (monday) and the first i heard of these posts was a friend called and told me, so i can only apologize for not replying quickly 
North Yorks Spares:..... Sorry i didn't ring you back but i was under the impression you where gonna ring me on the saturday after we spoke, to tell me if you where still interested in the car, as you where going to look at a magenta one and was going to let me know the outcome either way???

Ok New Price of £5500 
,
this is the absolute lowest that i can go for this car cause my plans have changed regarding Australia and i am now looking to be going within the next 6 months
Also the ABS light on the car has just decided that it will come on and stay on for some unknown reason
, so now the abs has stopped working, and i believe it to be one of the sensors, but haven't had it checked!. Which is another reason for the price drop
I just can't believe that I have had such little interest in this car , only one person has come to look at this car with the view to buy it , It amazes me cause someone is gonna get a nice car at the end of all this

mate you would a sold it by now if you rang paul linfoot back like you said you were gonna after you had mot`d it cause i was the lad who was after it but i wanted paul to sort the calls out for me so you only got your self to blame.But i have got another one now what im happy with.

no i rnt slating him sorry if it sounded like that.i rnt lazy either,i asked paul to find me a good car as i am no mechanic or dont really know the good points or bad points and cars to look out for and i know paul is good at his job so thats why i asked him to help me find one as i did not wanna get my pants pulled down over the price.well hope it goes soon anyway

So As you can see it was a mistake on your good friend pauls part for not ringing me back, as agreed on the saturday after the phone call concerning my car on the friday evening

Car looks lovely, but if you're would like some constructive critisism, I would say that you are asking a lot of money for a car that has a few problems with it.
Get the air-con re-gassed & get the ABS sorted and I reckon you'll have more people interested in that sort of price.
Also its unfortunate that the drivers bolster leather is cracked, personally I would not pay over £5k for a Saph that didnt have near mint leather.
Please dont take what ive said the wrong way, just from a prospective buyers point of view that is my opinion. I do hope you sell it for the money you want tho

But this car needs to be seen in the flesh (so to speak
) as it is a nice car, yeah it has a few very minor faults with it, but show me a car that is 13 years old that don't!!! (excluding concorse, but then if this was that clean it would be a sight more than five and a half grand 
)
