I think he could've been the guy who brought it from Bonhams? then Phil Boschman bought it
I brought the car off Phil Boschman but he didn't have it long, TBH it needed in my eyes updating to more modern setup (see below)
It had a full RS500 setup on it then 8x Injector ECU, Pectel boost control, Complete RS500 inlet, water injection, but in all honesty it never ran right and was old technology.
I fitted 4x4 inlet, RS500 cooler, L8 ECU, MSD chip and siemens 55lb injectors, stripped and re-braided engine loom with no multi-plugs, new separate fan loom,new shafts and engine mounts, new clutch bearing, Escos head gasket, later style ribbed belt setup including PAS pump, Rack, Alternator
2 stage boost control, new Koni's shocks and bushes on ARB & the 18" Revolutions,
I then had it all setup@MSD and as far as i'm aware it has stayed the same spec from when i sold it in April 2008 without any issues, apart from general servicing and maintenance.
When i was going through all the receipts from Collins Performance & GGR it totalled over 50K
the original owner would get it picked up on a trailer just to go back to GGR for it's MOT and then dropped off again
whatever it needed it got money wise, which goes to show why it's still in top condition to this day

yeah av been talking bk&fwrd with pat....am realy hoping its not sold before i at least get the chance to go see it, it looks stunning etc...a was worried it would be unreliable due to being chuned etc but from the comments av been reading am gathering its not gona be a problem....

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
we sailed holyhead to dunleary??? went on as foot pasenger and came back in the car total cost for 2 £165 no probs getting the car on and left the van in the long stay car park,caught the same boat back as the guy met us at the port,if this helps,
ps the saff we bought had been checked off patt and its a cracker thanks mate

It was a good car and George is a nice honest guy, so i knew you would have no problems with it and yes the crossing from holyhead is quite painless and quick these days...

Just home now after bringing the car to meet its new owner at Belfast airport and he is currently en-route home to Scotland...
