Here I present my Moonstone Blue 3dr Sierra RS Cosworth,1986,huge spec and big money been spent on this car as I'm sure lots of you will know the car on this site.500 bhp engine spec built by DP motorsport(Dave Pritchard-the magician..lol.)just over 1 yr ago.Full underside restoration by escort cosworth registrar Mark Barber(cossiecrazy) just over 18 months ago everything replaced that could be on the underside.I have over 40k in receipts for the car,spent just under 20k myself on the car since my ownership just over 2 yrs ago.

Engine spec:

RS500 engine-7:2:1 comp,long studded block,ported head 26.5/25mm,wrc headgasget,Isky valve springs,big wing sump,bd16/14 cams,909 wrc air injectors,83lb siemens black injectors,st escos inlet and roller bearing t4 turbo.New engine loom,fan loom and fuel pump loom by Pometheus Motorsport(Fraser Vincent)Live mapped by Tony @ Turbosystems.

Transmission

Standard T5 gearbox with Alcon 6 paddle clutch,group A mc rallying diff mount.

Suspension

Koni shocks/Bayjoo springs,fully polybushed and front and rear strut braces.

Brakes

Front AP 330MM discs/4 pot AP calipers
Rear 4wd sapp vented set up.
All stainless brake lines by Goodridge with DOT 5.1 brake fluid.

Wheels/Tyres

Compomotive CXN split rims 17"
Front 7.5x17 fitted with 215/40/17 Toyo T1R tyres
Rear 8x17 fitted with 235/40/17 Toyo T1R tyres

Interior

Superb interior,seats and carpet,uncracked dash,roof lining all clean and tidy-no sagging,Ford cassette player and amplifier,Ford Racing oil/water & boost guages,Stack AFR guage,secs monitor, and RS 4 spoke s/wheel.

Body-original Ford stamped front wings,bonnet etc.

RS500 front bumper and splitter,whailtail rear spoiler,lower spoiler and fog grilles.

Other cosmetic parts:

Bailey headertank,swirl pot and oil seperator/breather.Roose motorsport silicone boost hoses and coolant hoses.Spec R turbo heatsheild and various other shiny parts.

The car comes with a mountain of invoices,history etc.I have almost all the previous MOT's and many tax discs,all original handbooks,spare keys,original dealer number plates,tax disc holder and rear screen sticker.Cat 1 security.

The car is superb and has been pampered beyond the extreme,it is one of the best modified 3drs out there today.

"What you doing Lee!!" If the club had a penny for everytime you do this none of us would have to pay subs anymore (lol) Any way all the best with the sale mate and as everyone else has said this is truely a quality 3dr and one not to be missed.

 

Lee your mad, i know you may not use the car soon but believe me you would regret it their isn't any more out there with that spec, plus the little one will love it

You have about Ł25k+ of parts there thats not including a Ł13k car imagine how much it would cost to build another to that spec

 

Chris,I know bud.I did have plans on going to the shows anyway,so it's not that.I think I need a change,will probably get another RS anyway.
I know it would cost a shed load to build another one as I have done with this one for sure,it don't bare thinking about the cost to build another one.

No this one has never had leather interior(Not to my knlowage ), the one you might be thinking of used to belong to Steve Wiles ( SWOC )his was Moonstone and matching leather!

 

Mark Barber's work is second to none



You can go to needtoinsure they do classic insurance you have to join the rsoc though

 

this truly is a stunna i enjyrd doing it and lee spared no expense everything was new and the floor and sill edges are amazing for such an old car it drive superb and sound so nice a true classic that will out last any of this modern rubbish
