I havent had the chance to get the camera out when it was clean without the spoiler yet - because i removed it, cleaned it then it fecking snowed for a month lol.

Il get it cleaned and get some pics without the spoiler.

The only thing the spoiler has left is two screw holes in the boot and a rubber strip across the back window where it was mounted, its nothing major.

Updated pics would help... so would other paperwork to prove/disprove the history of the car since its been brought into question by a number of people.

Cheers,
Grant

Chill out, no need to get worked up.

Just need to get yourself a wee piece of paper that proves us wrong... if you know someone in the motor trade, they might even do it for free if you ask them nicely Nealypoos?!

I'm pretty sure this car is on the hitlist as I remember when it was for sale before and listed as such by the owner. It appears I'm not alone in remembering this either, as other members have commented along the same lines, therefore, how you come to buy and own this car and not be aware of this is beyond me.

Why should someone waste money proving the majority right? Why should I sit and watch a member potentially wank away 2.5k of their money on a car which they're unaware has previously been a total loss and is recorded on the HPi register?

Cheers,
Grant

** edit: I'm not saying its not worth the money and I'm not saying that it doesn't look good (in a different kinda way) but I'm just looking out for other members as I'd expect them to do for me... I'm not going to clutter the thread up anymore, but I think the posts should remain so that people can make an informed decision about the car and are urged to doing an HPi check for their own peace of mind.

If i were you mate i'd just paypal Jay the fiver to find out if it's on the list, just to clear it up. It's not going to make much difference on a car like this due to the amount of bodywork thats been changed anyway. But at least it would clear the doubt in peoples minds.

Got to say though i quite like it and have considered it.

It looks like a nice car. Its just needs different bumpers and i bet it looks better without that big spoiler on.
