Peugeot 106 GTi Race car
Peugeot 106 GTi Race car. Suitable for clubman tin tops, trackdays, sprints, hillclimbs and rally. Ideal first race car!
Modifications:
Engine
Standard 1.6 16V, Mocal Oil cooler, separate header tank and 205 radiator. Recently had new; cambelt, water pump, aux belt, tensioners, headgasket, oil and filter. Air box with green filter.
Chassis
Full rollcage, picking up on all rear suspension mounts, crossed drivers door bar, fully tagged to shell.
Front end fully seam welded. Custom front end, quick release, containing headlights, rad, oil cooler and airbox.
Stud and nut conversion.
All engine mounts up rated to solid rubber or ally.
New wheel bearings all round.
Suspension
Front- GAZ coilovers, 2 ½ race springs, strut top strengthening plates, eccentric rose jointed top mounts.
Rear- GA Z shocks, solid beam mounts.
Brakes
ABS removed. AP 551 fluid.
Front- 306 GTi-6 calipers, Black diamond discs, Mintex 1155 pads, braided lines.
Rear- Standard.
Wheels and Tyres
15X7 Compomotive MO’s, 5 spoke. Anthracite. TOYO R888’s
Xsara VTS 15X6, TOYO R888’s. (price to be discussed)
Interior
Corbeau Revolution, New this year TRS harnesses, carbon battery box in boot floor, Extended gear lever, SPA plumbed in fire extinguisher-2 nozzles in car,2 in engine bay. Electric cut off and ignition/start in carbon instrument box, dash trimmed and blanked with carbon. Still MOT'd, can be taxed.
