I cant beleive im typing this as this car has been my dream car since i was probably 10 years old. I have longed all my life to own an escort cosworth but unfortunately I have skinted myself to do so.

Therefore i just cannot afford to keep it and the other cars that i own, My sapphire has gone and now its the turn for the escort.

The car has been recently advertised by its previous owner who lived in ireland. Since i have bought the car i have done the following.

Reprogrammed the alarm (which now does the windows and pops the boot) I have had it recertified too.

Mot,D as i bought it without one.

Taxed for 6 months as i bought without tax.

Have fitted a working stereo (top of the range JVC) with a small sub in the boot for increased sound quality.

Fitted new grooved front disks and pads

Restored and painted front hockey sticks and Splitter (however i split the paint yesterday)

New Rad And Rad Switch

The brief spec list is.

Fully rebuilt engine in 50K by ford main dealer.

T34 Turbo

Chrome WRC Oil Breather with seperator.

Chrome Header Tank

Chrome Power Steering Tank

Chrome Water Swril Pot

Aftermarket Chrome Filter

Green Injectors.

Vernier Pullys

Valve Cut outs in pistons for biger cams (so im told)

Full Mongoose Exhaust

Braided Brake Lines

Polybushed front end

In car Boost And AFR gauges

Morrettes.

New 6 Paddle Clutch

Car is running 26 Psi and although i have only driven it 200 miles it drives tight and smooth with no knocks or rattles

The bad bits, Its 16 years old and bound to have some.

Due to being red it has been polished a lot through its life and has a couple of very small white marks on one or two panel edges.

Front exhaust is blowing underneath, (could be done before end of auction)

there is a little ripple in the front passenger side wing where its been painted in the past, You may not notice but id rather be honest.

Extremely little history, The previous owner was posting it on but hasnt as yet.

Thats it.



So its A nice usable Escort for very good money. The interior is in amazing condition and the car on the whole is easily showable, The underneath has been painted red in the past and it Flew through its mot. There is no smoke on or off boost and no knocking or piston slap. There is no rust anywhere on the car the rear arches and petrol cap are perfect.

Its just had a fluid change and is running really well, Its been ultra reliable for me and i wish i didnt have to sell but i do!

I will not take a part x against the car at TRADE value, NOT dreamer value, I have priced this car very very well so i dont expect it to hang around for long.

Im interested in anything (including cheaper RS) as I need a car for the wife and something cheaper but sportier for me.

If you want to part ex against the the car then its against 10k. Ive had too many people over valuing there part exs or expecting me to give them top dollar when they want to pay 9k for a nice clean escos. Far too many timewasters already

Needs must mate, Dont want to sell infavt its the last thing i want, And will be gutted to see it go but redundancie is on the cards.

Have you received the history off the previous owner, and why sent through the post was it not there when you bought the car???

 

No, No history received so car is sold with no history.

Its a cheap car due to this....

Even if i had the history i still wouldnt sell it for more. Its not a 15K escos its a 10K one which is why its being sold for that.

Think there was another owner in between these two who supposedley has some history for the car.

But still fuck me its a shade over £9k history or no history its a good deal if you want a fully receited up fully documented history escos then get a minimum £12/13k out this looks a cracker at the price its at

Besides the point, if you buy a car and the x owner has said they will post the history then you should recieve it .

cant beleive no one bought it at 9K. that was the only chance anyone will ever get at that money as its going in for paint on wednesday and wheels are being picked up in the morning.
