Here we have My Saff for sale due to the aquisition of an escos.

Its just been rebuilt/freshened up

I have lots of receipts from parts used on the build but no build receipt as it was done by me and a friend, This engine has no pistonslap and is whisper quiet. Ive done 150 miles since the build and have just given it its second oil change.

It has not been above 3000 revs yet so is still being run in!

The engine was rebuilt due to blue smoke on boost, One cylinder was found to be worn excessively so the 200 block was bored to 0.5 oversize on all cylinders, New pistons were sourced with new rings the engine was stripped and the crank was found to be unground and just in need of a polish so the engine was rebuilt with all new bits. The head had to have 8 new valve guides and the valves were recut.

Engine Spec.

Multilayer metal Head Gasket.

New gaskets throughout

8 New Valveguides and valves recut for optimum compression.

Acl Race bearings throughout sourced from matt lewis

Unground crank which engineer found to be in perfect condition.

Genuine Mahle Pistons 0.5 Oversize

Recently Rebuilt T34 Turbo

Dark Green Injectors + 3 Bar Map Sensor

RS500 Cooler

Samco Blue Hoses

Chrome Heatsheild and Rocker Cover

Uprated Braided Fan Circuit and Fan Switch

Full Stainless Exhaust

It has full KONI kit unfitted

6paddle AP clutch.

The bodywork is not perfect and on the whole the car could do with a bit of TLC, The underneath is solid though.

The main problems are.

Rear bumper needs alighning and black strip replaced.

3 bubbles on roof around sunroof (have not broken paint)

Couple of little bubbles under paint on each rear arch (better than 95% ive seen)

Bonnet has been painted in the past and in some lights is noticable

few pinhole dents around car.

Jacking points a bit crushed. (like most Saffs)

Dont let this put you off as its one of the best colours and the paintwork is really shiny (im just being brutally honest)

Now the interior is leather with a little wear to the drivers bolster and the passenger door card is starting to shrink.

The car now has 12 months MOT Advisory on front disks and pads though.

Just to Clarify the Konis Are Not fitted, They are in the boot to be fitted.

Thare are little marks around the car but its fantastic value for money being a full stage 3 car.

 

Seems a bargain as i was talking to you about buying it about 6 months ago for not much less so you must be taken a lossgood luck with the sale should sell no bother as its in the best colur with leather

 

Yes mate this is taking a loss but due to it needing some TLC i dont see it as a 5K car.

Makes me wish i sold it for £3250 without the engine build.

if i had the money i would defo have it but spent all my dosh on my escosand still spending<<<real tearsas you describing the bad bits on the phone they are minor and really wouldnt cost more than a couple of hunderd to get it perfect also that red escos you haver i was going to buy that but got the one i have now its a nice car that escos

 

lol its like were on the same wavelength with our car buying. Auralis is probably my best colour too.

Bloke has got back to me called neil (blueovalspares) with an offer, Ive told him ill accept it but he hasnt responded, Could be another timewaster. To be honest if he doesnt buy it for what ive offered it to him for more fool him!

Would probably be a good way to sell but i honestly didnt think id have any trouble as it was just what i was looking for when i bought it.
