Default late spec 4x4 saff, stg3, £5000

Well, with a baby on the way, it is time for the old girl to go, I have owned it for coming close to 4 years and dont really want to sell it, but needs must, so here she is

1993 late spec saff (colour coded tip on spoiler)
cherrished plate K15 KOS
Diamond White Exterior
Raven Leather (slight wear in usual place on drivers seat)
123k on clock, engine re-built at 90k home build but all receipts to back it up and did 15+ power runs in one day during the fast ford intercooler test, so very strong engine.

bailey header tank, swirlpot, breather etc
grp A head gasket
wire wrung block
full samco hoses
Grp A coil
3 bar map sensor
RamAir cone filter
Magnex exhaust
grey injectors
pro alloy 500 intercooler
live mapped by NMS, made 327bhp and 338lb/ft on Reylands rollers.

knackerd Alcon 6 paddle clutch, lol
koni adjustables, with ahmed bayjoo springs
solid mounted rear beam
Hi-Spec 315mm big disk conversion
17" Comp MO's with brand new tyres

the engine bay pic is a bit old now and as I use the car pretty much every day is a littlr dirtier and now has the RS500 style cooler.

£5000

Thats cheap mate. Why sell it though it will be ideal for carrying the baby. The boot is big enough for the pram and its a 4 door car.Good luck with the sale and the price is spot on.

was just gonna say, this is what i'm going for ready for when the family arrives..........

do you have all the bits and bobs to return to standard? or standard-ish, like airbox, standard hoses, injectors, ecu etc?

its all about reducing costs mate, I want the missus to have as much time off work as she needs with the baby, before going back to work.

I think the cossie price market is a bit funny at the moment, and this will in no way cover what I have spent, but i think it is a fair price, even if it does need a clutch

I havnt got any pics of the interior, If I manage to get out of work tomorrow at a sensible hour, I will try and take some pics and post them up.

rust wise the underside of the car is spot on, I managed to get a proper look underneath it at the last MOT and there was no rust at all that i could see,, one of the rear arches, can remember which is starting to get a slight discolouration due to rust, but hasnt turned to true rust yet, if that makes sense, lol, I will try and get some pics tomorrow to show you what I mean

I have always loved this car, looked better with the standard rims on though IMO.

Good luck with the sale mate.

In case anyone is remotly bothered this is my old car.

I looked all over the country (and I mean all over) and eventually after 14 other cars I picked this one as it stood head and tails above all the other shite I saw.

It came from a guy who was (and still is as I see him at shows) well into the RSOC scene and the car wanted for nothing, just like when I had it (with Karl Norris as a friend) and has wanted for nothing since Rich has had it- not having a kid = disposable income to spend on cossies when the missus aint watching.

It is a good solid and useable car and never fails to amuse or impress, as do all Gunship 4x4's.

Ciao

i used to have one of these in 2007 and thinking of buying another one

is this car hpi clear? has it had any crashes or involved in accident? and any panel replaced or paintwork?

will you sell it with the original wheels? and what is the original registration before the K15?

also what was replaced during the engine rebuild? was it a case of full rebuild? if not, please list.

thanx.

yeah i know

but as I have been made redundant, it is looking more and more likelly that I will need to travel for a new job (not 2 miles like the last one) so could do with getting something semi-sensible asap
