Peugeot 205 MI16 track car on jenveys! **NOW £3000**
OK, Had the car up for sale a few months back but not activally selling as such. She was up for £4000 and had some interest and some offers of £3000 but turned them down at the time.........I'm now offering her up for sale for £3000 NO OFFERS as I need the money to put towards my retraining.....PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS NO OFFERS THOUGH!!!
Some of you may know the car but for those that don't i'll put up a brief spec and what it has cost us to build etc.
Bought in 2006 from Aberdeen from a guy who had built the car.
Was originally Miami blue but we wanted something to stand out so I had it painted Focus ST Orange both inside and out (not engine bay though)
I bought a Jenvey throttle body kit off ebay and had it fitted and setup by eccosse in scotland!
Ran for 2006 great but 2007 the engine started getting a bit tired at our show when claire ragged it around for 2 days constantly then we did another track day in her before I decided to rebuild the engine.
Engine was fully rebuilt by a guy in our group who is an engine builder. She needed new liners, pistons, polished the head and match the inlet manifold up for the Jenveys to flow etc etc Gordon found out that the exhaust cam was a tooth out!! Thanks Eccosse!!!!
Anyway, after running her in for a few hundred miles, she was setup and mapped by Richard at motoscope in northallerton and she made 190bhp which was an awesome figure for a lightly fettled engine.
I then did Croft RSOC in 2008 with her and she was faultless all weekend!!
Claire has done Croft RSOC 2009 with her this year and again, other than it not starting for damp plugs (Thanks Jamsport Jamie for sorting) she ran absolutely faultless and had proper track abuse with NO dramas!!
That is all she has done since I built the engine so she is really in tip top condition really.
Engine:
405 Mi16 conversion with correct manifold fitted.
Throttle bodies on lumenition management with matched inlet manifold.
Silicone hoses
Escort cosworth Bailey oil breather with vittell catch tank LOL
Oil Cooler.
Runs on fully synthetic Castrol Edge
1.6gti gearbox for shorter ratios with quickshift.
Spax suspension.
309gti front arms etc for wider track
1.9gti brakes.
2 sets of wheels, 1 with toyo R888's the others with eagle f1's
Fully caged
Cobra buckets
Harnesses
New OMP suede steering wheel
Car is stickered up at the moment with my mates garage details as he maintains it for us but these will just peel off easy.
I also fitted an automatic bonnet for more clearance for TB's.
Only done 2 track days since engine was rebuilt so is spot on.
Has cost me £6k+ to build.
First Track day
Stripped for painting.
One of her being painted
Have got more pictures available if anyone wants to see them.
Price??????
Well the engine build and Throttle body conversion alone has cost £3k so I'm offering her for sale at £3000 NO OFFERS!!!!!
Please ring me on 07717 280942 at anytime etc.
thanks.

Stunning.......... Worth every penny!!
My 1990 205 1.9 GTI (130bhp) was very fast so this must be outstanding!
Mi-16 conversion has been loved my 205 GTI fans for some years, to have TB's on is a dream!
Claire....... PM on its way

We'll have one last shimmy at our show at Croft this year then hopefully she'll be off somewhere else where she'll get her tyres dirty more often
Will Calvin be at Croft so they can say goodbye

Scott, the things they've done mate, deifes belief!! They used there Max Power inspired rep to basically con people into believing they could enigneer as well as paint
Some of the engine disasters they churned out were legendary The forums in scotland had rooms just for them and Calder Racing Developments

She's an awesome little car and she's served me well for the last few years. Its just such a shame that I don't get to drive her as much as I used to.
When I was talking to Paul (NYRS Spares) he said it took him 6 laps to get past me (he was driving his black RS500) and I wasn't holding him up. She just handles so well, I'm gonna really miss the car when she goes

This is one quick little car that handels superb and with the right driver ( like the one it has now ) will be a fast car on any track
I could catch it on the straights but it corners like its on Rails
A snip of the build price and IMO a cheap Fast car

I presume the car isn't road legal as no mention of mot etc?? I quite fancy another track car but having to trailer it everywhere isn't ideal for me. Is it still running distributor or coilpack? Good looking little build though mate
