Series II RS Turbo
Here for sale is my immaculate Series II RS Turbo. It has MOT until July, however after being garaged over winter is currently a SORN – I will tax for the right price. Spec is as follows:
Interior:
Immaculate front and rear seats, they are not sagging and have no rips, tears or burns.
Unmarked front and rear door cards (no sagging) with built in Clarion mids.
Perfect parcel shelf – unmarked.
RS four spoke steering wheel – very rare and expensive.
White Lockwood dials.
Very good condition carpet – I have had this up and there is no sign of rusting and original sound deadening is still in tact.
Clarion head unit.
Boost Gauge – although not fitted, I will include in the sale. Wiring is in place just needs connecting.
All interior electrics work as they should.
Full Clifford alarm and immobiliser.
Exterior:
The shell itself is perfect, there are no dents or scratches . It has never been welded underneath , all original panels and unmarked glass, original sills and rear arches etc. All panels match up as they should. The exterior was repainted last year by Ford in Diamond White including de-locked doors and boot and colour coded handles and mirrors. All the body kit is as it should be and has no missing jacking points and nothing broken.
90 Spec front bumper and rear spoiler. No splits, cracks or stone chips to any of the bumpers.
New Ford badges to the front and rear.
New amber front and side indicators.
New Ford headlights.
Wheels/Suspension:
Koni adjustable suspension – currently lowered to around 34/40mm.
Tyres – as new all round.
Good wheels all round – couple have marks but will supply a full additional set of wheels with the car.
Engine:
The engine was re-built by Burton Power around 40,000 miles ago although have no receipts to prove. The engine itself runs well and starts first time it could perhaps just do with a couple of hydraulics replacing as a couple are now beginning to tap. The rest of the engine is standard and again as it should be.
Full Mongoose exhaust system with 4inch tailpipe.
K & N air filter.
Bailey dump valve.
Battery – recently replaced.
New header tank.
Samco boost hoses.
All in all a very good RS Turbo – getting harder to find in this condition given that it has never been welded and together with the unmarked interior and exterior. This would make a great show car for the new season ahead. I am looking for offers in the region of £3000.
