i'm thinking of selling my 3 door because since putting the engine from my saph to the 3 door it's got a tapping noise from the engine. some times it's there some times it's not. it's mainly when driving the car and applying the throttle. when you hold it at any rpm it's not there. i think it's a tappet as its from the top end
so i've basicly lost interest in it after spending a fortune on it.
here is the spec
2wd engine, standard bore size, full bottom end is lightened and balanced, ap clutch
rebuild head, new stem seal re-lapped valves and fresh skim, piper cam pulleys
rebuilt gearbox witch is mint
level 6 ecu with a A1 rallysport chip and set up buy them, 2wd saph level 6 engine loom.
light blue injectors
turbo technics t34 with cut back blades, done about 2-3000 miles
breather system with catch tank and braided hoses
alloy header tank with inspection glass
rs500 style intercooler
roose motorsport boost and water hoses
group A fuel pump and new filter
recondition front calipers and new grooved discs brand new rear 4x4 calipers and new discs, ( all calipers painted red)
new hand brake cable.
recent brake lines all round with braided flexi's that go to the calipers
full car polly bushed
koni shocks with ahmed bayjoo springs
the full car is solid, underneath never had welding chassie legs are solid
inner wing are solid etc.
18 inch comps split rims with brand new tyre's
the interior is immaculate with a couple of cracks in top of dash
the things it needs to make it mint
scratch on rear drivers side quater
the corners on the bonnet need repainting as someone had it stud up and bent them and staightend them back out.
front bumper could do with a paint because there's a bit of paint flakeing off.
the car now drives really nice and tight, the engine runs perfect no misses and goes very well (apart from this tapping
)
there is lots of history with this car, all old mots and loads of receipts.
i want 6.5k for it
