crystal blue saff cosworth stage 3 4 sale £3000(NEW PICS ADDED)
here it goes:
ive lost the enthusiasm 2 carry on with my saff.i bort it off a mate with engine in bits and many parts missing earlier this year.i bort everything i needed inc suspension,brakes exhaust etc etc.
he had rebuilt the bottom end with a crank grind and new shells,then new head gasket etc.then a problem turned out to be a fault with head so he lost interest and sold few parts.
i bort it took head off and sent it away to be repaired.got it back and bolted it all back together and same problem occured.turned out that the chap who repaired the head hadnt actually touched it and my ecu was knackered . anyway, bort another head off moonstone steve and got another ecu and new stage 3 chip.
i booked a week off work 2 get it all bolted back together,went to time the bottom end up and it had seized.cant budge it.i poured oil in the bores wen i took the head off but somehow it had still managed to seize.
plan was to take engine back out and strip it down and redo it all but ive lost enthusiasm and havnt got the time to do it.i really dont wanna sell but i think i have to.im so gutted
205 bottom end reground crank and new shells
lightly ported cylinder head
quick shift
new ap 6 paddle clutch
3 bar map sensor
green injectors
stage 3 jamsport chip
scorpion exhaust
samco water hoses
samco boost hoses
alloy header tank
bailey oil breather
water separator
strut brace
chrome strut tops
chrome cambelt cover
chrome coil cover
koni adj suspension
brand new 40mm lowering springs
cross drilled discs all round
poly bushes
4x4 vented bonnet
rs 500 pace intercooler
brand new group a headgasket ready to be fitted
head has bin feshly skimmed
bad bits:
engine bay has been painted black by previous owner
possible mite want bit of welding to back of passenger side rear sill
few tiny rust bubbles at bottom of arches(but u will see when u view it)
obviously bottom end wont turn over.dont understand why tho!!!
must b things ive 4 got.will post more once i think of them.
may consider px.
will post the pics up 2morow.i have posted some recent pics not long ago on here,but will put some more up 2morow when the missus does it for me.
thanks for looking.im gutted but i think i have to get something else.

really hope it doesnt get stripped.just needs that botom end sorted,chuck the head on and a set up and your laughing.need it gone asap as found a car id like 2 buy

as far as i know mate thats it.no tax or test tho.worth loads in bits but i just cant bring myself 2 do it.head is literally built up waiting to go on,then i relised i had that problem wen i tried to time the bottom end up

hello mate.im really after something i can keep in mint condition,if it was atrack car i was after i would be interested but i just would never get to use it .sorry mate.thanks for the offer tho
