1999 Jaguar XJ8 3.2 Sport
This is my Platinum Silver (depending on the light it alters between silver and gold) XJ8 Sport. As you can see it has the 18" wheels from an XK8 and the rears are staggered. The space saver is also 18".
Other than the wheels the car is absolutely standard. It has never been smoked.
The car comes with history, drivers manuals and has had 5 previous owners (1 of which was the trader I bought it from). He was also a member of JEC as am I.
The engine has had the tensioner and chain replaced and a service. It drives very well and starts first time every time. No smoke, rattles, leaks or squeaks from either the engine or the gearbox. The seats have been cleaned and fed with Gliptone and I also sorted out the surface scratches on the leather. There's not holes or rips on the seats. It smells like it should when you open the door.
The drivers seat it electrically operated and the gearbox has a Sport option. The car also has climate control (blows very hot and ice cold) and a trip computer. No expense has been spared on this car and it has been well cared for. Even though it has done 114350 miles, it doesn't look it or drive like it. If you know your Jags then you know this sort of mileage is nothing on them.
Taxed and MOT'd until March 2009.
As this is a pre-March 2001 car you pay £185 road tax. It is also economical for its size.
A lovely luxury vehicle and something different than a German car all for £3000.
